Iowa ends 2022 with a 21-0 win over Kentucky and a 8-5 record. For the first time in the Music City Bowl, an opponent wins a shutout and for the first time this century a Big Ten wins a bowl by shutout.

Iowa's roster isn't complete and the coaching staff may see some adjustments, but here's to Kirk Ferentz's 25th edition in 2023 being special, as punter and first game captain Tory Taylor reflected on, when asked about his future, after the B1G win today in Nashville.

Special teams should be quite special with all top special team specialists back from PK, PT, holder, long snapper and both top return specialists.

Iowa will hopefully and a strong and deep QB room, as QB1 is Cade McNamara, but QB2 or even QB3 is so important, when you look at a team, like Kansas State. Injuries happen, and you need next man in.

Iowa has a good RB room based on top 3 at Music City Bowl. The challenges are at offensive line and a stronger WR room. QB Joe Labas did hit WRs Diante Vines and Nico Ragaini for a nice pick up today.

Iowa's defense returns a strong nucleus upfront and in the secondary. Really looking forward to this freshman having another offseason of prep.

Love the secondary, and first start Xavier Nwankpa had today.

Roster and staff will need to be completed, but I like Kirk Ferentz making his third run for Indy in 10 years, when you look at schedule and strength of Iowa in B1G West.

Fight for Iowa!
