Bohemian Rhapsody was a great movie. Queen has so many great songs.
I never was impressed with Rami as Freddy. JMO

I have seen better versions of Freddie on low budget biography Queen biography films
and Freddie lived a deviant sexual life. So they make a PG 13 film.

Oh, you’re talking about the movie that should have been titled The Freddie Mercury Coming Out Story. Yeah, it was a good flick.
I mean, I don't need to see a video montage of that. They can allude to it and get the point across without going into needless detail.
This reminds me of when Magic Johnson first announced he was HIV positive. He said he wasn't on Wilt Chamberlain levels but he had slept with a lot of women. I remember watching an interview where he said his favorite thing was fulfilling women's fantasies. One woman wanted to have sex in an elevator. Another woman wanted to have sex on her office desk.
At one point the interviewer mentioned the story about Magic having sex with six women at the same time. He said "Be honest, now. Was that their fantasy or was that yours?"
Magic got a huge grin on his face and said "That was both."
So sex parties, not that I have ever been part of one, is a good reason to dislike the guy. Gotcha.... remind me when you are part of a kegger that might have a youth there. Or better yet, remind us all when you visit porn sites or speed while driving.

The only queen story I have is when my folks told me he was Indian and I didn't believe them. It turned out his family, mom and dad, shopped at the same market before they moved to Zanzibar, which is in Africa and then to the UK.

I did not say I disliked him. Not at all. I just would have preferred a less watered down version
Maybe I had my hopes up for the Cohen version, which would have been more in line with reality. But the existing members of Queen were not on board with that
not too mention some facts from movie were not factual. Mainly the “ I have AIDS “ announcement before Live Aid
I loved the movie; didn’t need the details of his sex life. There were more than enough references to it for me.
I was more interested in his relationship with the other band members, and that aspect they did very well.
That is fine. People can have different opinions. I thought the movie was good. Was not blown away by it.
and I personally did not think they did not show enough of Freddie’s relationship with individual members.
tbh, it was kind of a waste of screentime to just duplicate that concert. Why not give us more real movie and then show the real thing post credits or something. I don't see the benefit of a slavish copy other than the production crew saying "look what we can do!."
