Watching all these shotgun offenses where they look over to the sidelines, I was wondering if these QBs are failing to learn how to read defenses. I understand they still need to be able to read coverage to some extent, but since they don't ever audibilize how much reading of the D are they really doing.
Just like never going under center can hurt their future to some extent. Not being able to read a defense has to hurt them.
