Question for medical experts: I think I have Shin AIDS.

Earlier today I itched my leg and realized I had a band aid on it that’s been there for at least a week. I peeled it off and I have a rectangular blotch with the middle of it producing some sort of a slime. Every time I touch it, it’s slimy. This is some sort of gangrene I assume. Band aid pox?

Anywho, Should I dig at it with a pen cap or something? I’m not a doctor but I assume that’s one way of dealing with it.

Sounds like a wet scab. Take the band aid off and let the wound air out so it can properly scab up to heal into skin.
