I'd go:

Top Tier: Gonna battle for Conf Champ
Purdue- Looked very dominate
Wisconsin- Hayes is tough when he shows up

Next Tier: Playing for 3rd
Indiana- Tough L, too much talent
Northwestern- Very good squad, full of shooters
MSU- Got a big Win on the road. Talented group
Maryland- Looked solid against a lackluster Illini team

Middle Pack:
Nebbie- Got a big win on the road.
Minnesota- Tough L at home, has some youth
Illinois- Looked very bad vs Maryland gotta think they will be better
Michigan- Up and down non-conf, tell more after game at Iowa.

Bottom of Conf:
Ohio State- Good Non-conf, but lot of question marks
Penn State- Very young team
Rutgers- New coach seems to have them playing well, gonna struggle
Iowa- Young team, gonna take their lumps this season

I'll play...

Wisconsin
Purdue
-----------
Indiana
Northwestern
Maryland
Michigan
Nebraska
Michigan St
Ohio State
Iowa
-------
Minnesota
Illinois
Penn St
Rutgers

I'll admit, I'm relying on quite a bit of second hand information so far, but based on results/competition, this is how I'd rank.

Aside from Wisconsin and Purdue, whom are the most talented and experienced teams, the rest of the league is going to self mutilate each other.

Indiana, Maryland, Ohio State, Northwestern, and Minnesota I think may put themselves in play for NCAA with MSU the wildcard if they get healthy and make a run... the rest of the teams: Michigan (rely too much on the 3 ball), Iowa (young and inconsistent), Rutgers (improved but not ready yet) , Illinois (undisiplined) , Nebraska (see them moving up as year goes on but lack consistent scoring) and Penn State (young an inconsistent like Iowa)

Interesting that so far I seem to be lowest on Minnesota. I haven't seen any semblance of an inside threat from them outside of offensive rebounds and put backs. Do they have any post scoring on the roster? It seemed like they just tried to take Michigan State off the dribble repeatedly from what I was able to watch.

I also think of my teams, Illinois and Iowa are the most likely to jump up, because I think Illinois has the players and Iowa has the coaching and young talent to improve. I think Nebraska is the most likely to fall as the season progresses, just based on history. However, they did have the most impressive win in the B1G, so they get credit for that.

Top Tier title contenders
1. Wisconsin
2. Purdue
3. Maryland
4. Michigan St.
5. Indiana

Middle Tier-
6. Ohio St.
7. Michigan
8. Illinois
9. Northwestern

Bottom Tier-
10. Iowa
11. Minnesota
12. Penn St.
13. Rutgers
14. Nebraska

I do not think anything has changed nor will it despite Indiana's loss.

Wisky, Purdue fight for the title with Indiana hanging around.

Then there's everyone else.

This league is as bad I have seen it in some time but that happens. It's devoid of strong talent too. There's a couple of good players here or there but no amazing impact players like we have seen over the past 5-10 years.

I would agree that the league is down from where it was the past couple years. Indiana, MSU, and Maryland lost a ton of talent and experience from last year.

I do think NW might finally make the NCAAs this year.

The strength of schedule in the non-conf. games will
start to manifest itself. Illinois, for example, did not
play the strength of schedule like Michigan State.
Some teams will be ready to compete every night in the
Big Ten, while others will take time to acclimate themselves
to the style of play. For example Groce coaches Illinois
and Izzo coaches Michigan State. There is a difference.
