Q: What was the experience like for you up at Iowa over the weekend?

HAMMONDS: Oh, it was great.

Q: What were some of the highlights for you?

HAMMONDS: I would say the highlights would have to be seeing their new facilities and just seeing how everybody there is like a family. They're a close group.

Q: Which coaches did you get to talk to and what did they say?

HAMMONDS: I talked with basically all of the coaches. They just told me that they really like me and would like to have me there at running back.

Q: After heading home, what are your overall thoughts on Iowa right now?

HAMMONDS: I'm very interested in them. I really like Iowa. There could be a possibility of me going to school there.

Q: Is that your favorite right now?

HAMMONDS: Yes, you could say they're a favorite.

Q: What makes Iowa stand out to you right now?

HAMMONDS: Like I said, what really stood out was how everybody is close like a family.

Q: What's next for you? Are there more visits coming up?

HAMMONDS: I'm not sure right now, but I should have some more visits coming up.

Q: Did you pick up a new offer yesterday?

HAMMONDS: Yes sir from ULM.

Q: What were your thoughts on getting that offer?

HAMMONDS: Oh, it's great that I was able to be blessed to get another offer.

Q: You have offers from Iowa, Kansas, and ULM now. Who is showing a lot of interest that could be next?

HAMMONDS: Colorado State maybe.

Q: Is there any timeline early on as far as when you might want to make a decision?

HAMMONDS: Probably towards the end of my senior season.
