I went in and re-ranked the HS class of 2010. I did this by hand, so it is possible I missed someone (in fact when I did this in this winter, I missed McMullen!).

Here's what I did
I used D1collegewrestling.net (mostly b/c it was easy to find). I went through and gave wrestlers who placed the number than they placed. If they didn't place, I gave them "32" (for no real reason). Then I came up with an average and sorted by the average. I did leap frog / move up Delgado, Houdashelt and Gadsen as they got a NC. I did get a little lazy after I re-ranked the top 15, so 16-21 may not be the most accurate.

Here's what I should have done
Totaled up the points scored at the NCAAs and sorted by that total (hint, hint to anyone out there with some time to waste).

Quick thoughts
I only found 6 wrestlers who AA in 2012. I'm sure there were more. But consider tOSU had two this past year, wow.

Only 3 wrestlers were 4X AAs.

Three wrestlers who AA in their first year, missed out on being a 4X (Telford, Delgado, C. Dardanes)

2010 revisted

This is interesting, but why give all those guys a "32" when you could give Moreno a 12 for being in R12 and Delgado a 24 for being in the round of 24 this year. I did not bother to look at past years, but winning a Match at NCAA's should get more recognition.

Too much work.
