This is prolly my 306th re-watch. Beathard’s pick six late in the first was the “cardinal” sin IMHO. Was driving for 14-7 or at least 14-3 until that happened. Defense was going to tighten up.
I know this is a hard topic for everyone

why on earth are you watching it that much ??
Maybe should have added an additional poll choice for Big 12 refs replaced with clowns. That might have helped too.

On that play the DB was giving Derrick Mitchell Jr tons of cushion and all DM had to do was sit down and catch the short pass for the 1st down but instead Mitchell ran straight upfield with his head down with ill regard for the down or distance needed.
The only way we were winning that game was if Tonya Harding et al had a meeting with the rb I’ve wiped from my memory before the game.
I can believe it. Sucked they lost the big ten championship but it was obvious they left it all out there.
