Just to clarify…. They aren’t all getting $950,000 as stated in the blog. That’s the total amount distributed amongst the athletes this year.

Adjusted for inflation, today’s $250,000 gold medal bonus would have been @$38,000 in 1972, $110,000 in 1988, and & $130,000 in 1992.
