I like the committed recruits, however, if Iowa goes on to have a great season with 10 wins would it have allowed Iowa to get higher rated recruits? Conversely, does the success hinder recruiting with some prospects where a younger player steps up and plays well making it likely to be harder for a recruit to get an opportunity to play? For example, Ben Niemann looks like a 3 year starter at LB and Josey Jewell looks like he will be starting the next two seasons. Obviously they can be beaten out like Greenway beating out Worthy and Fisher winning a battle this year but this is more rare. Clearly there is no way to know but just food for message board thought.
