Recruiting: Linebacker Will Honas

So I think it would be huge if Iowa could land this kid. Anybody know the odds? I've looked over his offer list and it is very impressive. Offers from California, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Pitt, and some lower level schools. Iowa has also offered as well.

Anybody know where we stand with him?

Making his official visit December 8th. Also visiting Kansas State and maybe one or two more schools. He can sign December 20th and is a mid year transfer who can enroll in January.

Yes, would be a big get for us. Think we have some good players at LB next year but depth and competition does not hurt.

I believe he said most schools have offered at a specific LB spot where Iowa has been more open about position and playing time, which yiubcould think would help us. I thought he looked solid in run stopping at the Juco level and was surprised someone said he needed to bulk up.
