Recruiting strategy

Assuming we don’t have mass transfers, wouldn’t a smart strategy for this offseason be to get one or two transfers that have to sit next year? We don’t need much for next year and will have a lot of scholarships available the next year. I’d rather have a guy that’s already proven it than take a chance on some high schoolers. Cant waste Garza’s senior year and Joe’s junior year with a bunch of freshmen.

With the returning roster, we are one good shot creator away from being a 4/5 seed team that can legitimately compete at the top of the Big 10.

If we could find a combo or wing player to fill that void we’d be in business. He could step in and take Baer’s Minutes and a little of McCaffrey’s.
