He's very open about how awful and worthless the chicago public school system was. It's not a matter of difficulty, it's literally a waste of time for most. Given not even 20% of their students are proficient I'd say he made the right call. His professional career certainly hasn't suffered as he is more financially successful than anyone raging in here lol
