Retherford is very tough (obvious statement), but TShirt looked like he quit after the first minute of the match. He did not want to be out there. Same for Malone at 133. Both guys mailed it in IMO.
Sorry I missed it. BTN2go keeps telling me the event hasn't started. BS has to throw some serious offense at ZR to keep him off his attacks, otherwise it's gong to be a tough match for BS.
I agree. If the video make it to BTN2Go you will see a very easy match for Zain. No intensity by Tshirt or any NU wrestler.

Northwestern is obviously not going in a good direction. IMO opinion Tshirt should get the hell out of there for his senior year. I also think Reenan should de-commit and come to Iowa.
Agree. Tshirt looks like he could bump up to 57 easily and slide into iowa lineup with St John going to 65.
He is more than physically injured. He has had two of the most important people in his life die at a very young age. Some people never recover from that. Add in the mess that happened To Northwestern right at the beginning of the season with Pariano and I am surprised he is even wrestling right now.

I think it is an "if" until Brandon can show separation from TShirt. Also, no one talks about the Mayes kid from Mizzou. He is a tough out.
I attended match. Tsirtsis not ready to wrestle entire season; personal issues, and injuries, conditioning (?). ZR very talented, but BS can go with him, great match-up if they meet. Bo Nickal looked great, catch and release prior to fall. Nickal vs Jordan, my pick is Nickal, maybe the next DT. Nico very tough, but I like TG, great weight class at conference. Very difficult to judge Iowa vs PSU based on N/W results. Wildcats do not have ANY battle in them, continue to have difficulty putting ten wrestlers on mat. Need to reload. Go Hawks.

Your trophy case is also about 1/20th the size. Probably much easier to clean.
I agree with this. Just an awful situation for the kid. And he actually seems to be wrestling more offensively this year. But I think wrestling is much more affected by your mental state than any other sport.
I just watched the match. Tsirtsis wouldn't even think about using the left arm to give a serious whizzer. He gave up in the third not even contesting Zain's shots.
We don't know what would have happened in the last match with Brandon if it was allowed to continue.

Anybody else interested to see how PSU's freshmen do against Illinois? Some really good matchups. Not to mention Richards/Conaway and Ervin/whoever PSU sends out. Will be a close dual.
Tshirt has gone through some life changing events for sure. Wrestling is taking a back seat to real life events. He was never a dominant wrestler to start winning by 1 or 2 points in many matches. I seriously doubt he wins another NC. On another note BS looked pretty lethargic his last match. Gotta preform better than that to be on the top of the podium.
