Congratulations to Coach Brad Smith, a long and distinguished wrestling career. Brad Smith was an outstanding athlete, and an Illinois State High School champion at his high school alma mater, Hersey High School, Arlington Heights, IL. The article (attached) has some interesting comments about Brad, a good read.

Coach Brad Smith is remembered well at Hersey High School.

The Lisbon position is still open. Lots of community support behind the program. It’d be a great opportunity!

Looking to expand to international recruiting. The pool of coaches with international pull at the high school level is small…so you can see why finding someone might take a little longer

Also tonight at Lisbon Sauerkraut Days the 50-year reunion for the first state title in Lisbon Wrestling history (1973) will be held at Gwen’s starting at 6 PM.





It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling fan.
