Riggins could have been given two in the first and 1 Hains TD was iffy but Haines clearly better as expected. Riggins needs a redshirt. Haines basically had a college redshirt this past season.

I watched the match and it was closer than the score . Riggins should have had 2 on the first exchange. Then there was a questionable 2 given to Haines. Riggins was also very close to scoring 2 as time expired. Haines is the better wrestler right now but it’s competitive.

You don't know the future. That's as asinine as saying Star would never beat Kem after Kem won the first two matches.

And this match goes differently if they award the opening TD to Riggins, and if the match lasts another 10 seconds. And I didn't agree with awarding Haine's first TD either.

Haines just spent the past year, not doing high school wrestling, but training in the PSU wrestling club. Might make a difference.
