Is that 6 pounds, 11 ounces?

Found an article that said he has dropped from 240 to 225 pounds in the last year. He's trying to get stronger in the weight room and dropped some bad weight during that time. He's got 2+ years to sculpt that body and improve that skill set. You can't teach or train someone to be 7'0" however.

Nothing matters until he commits and that hasn't happened. If Fran wants him, then so do I but I am not going to spend a couple of years worrying about it . That is Fran's job.

Yeah, why does anyone ever mention anything about a recruit until they commit? It’s like...get a life, amirite?!?!

I realize the kid is only a sophomore in high school but he looks really skinny. My guess is he will be a project but if Fran likes him, so be it.

He looks more like 175 than 225. He kind of reminds me of the kid from Minnesota 20 years ago (Ramos??) who was like 7'2" and all he could do was shoot 3 pointers. Transferred to UNO after one year.

He looks to me like he's grown to a legit 6' 10" and I would guess that weight to be pretty accurate from the video I have watched.....

Maybe my memory is faulty but I don’t remember Ramos jacking up 3’s
I don't remember him seeing the floor much. I just remember before the first game I saw him play all he did was shoot 3s in warmups----nothing down low. I don't think he ever filled out enough to battle down low. I believe he was a freshman with my oldest in 98-99.

Ramos was a stick. Not much more than height.
