Anyone know why he did not play last night? As depleted as our bench is, I thought we would see him.
If he can't even take some mins from pemsl then he has absolutely no business playing except for garbage time. Pemsl is a liability on both ends.Anyone know why he did not play last night? As depleted as our bench is, I thought we would see him.
Sick. Did not travel.Anyone know why he did not play last night? As depleted as our bench is, I thought we would see him.
Never thought I’d say this, but if Kreiner goes down we are screwed. If he can't even take some mins from pemsl then he has absolutely no business playing except for garbage time. Pemsl is a liability on both ends.
Pemsl rebounded well last night. I cringe when he and Kreiner touch the ball, but Pemsl still has an important role on this team. We are going to need him.If he can't even take some mins from pemsl then he has absolutely no business playing except for garbage time. Pemsl is a liability on both ends.
I think you meant home sick.He was homesick and could not play.
This quote is from HR home page. Fran talking about the game last night. I knew JBo had surgery, but he mentions two.Sick. Did not travel.
You do realize he didn't travel with the team as he was sick, right? They talked about this several times during the game...If he can't even take some mins from pemsl then he has absolutely no business playing except for garbage time. Pemsl is a liability on both ends.
Jack with surgery FridayThis quote is from HR home page. Fran talking about the game last night. I knew JBo had surgery, but he mentions two.
"We had two guys get operated on Thursday and Friday. We got a guy that didn't make the trip because he's sick."- FMc
Nunge as well?
And Patrick out too. This quote is from HR home page. Fran talking about the game last night. I knew JBo had surgery, but he mentions two.

I'm giving up drinking for a month.
Oops that came out wrong.
I'm giving up. Drinking for a month.
I thought I saw Fran say something recently that made it sound like he’s not coming back any time soonIs there a chance that Patrick could start playing soon, or is it more likely that will sit the year out?
Let’s eat Grandma.I'm giving up drinking for a month.

If you watch Pemsl, he tends to jog back on defense. Like all the time. He just seems like he has lost interest in playing.
Cordell is playing with back, knee and hip pain. Does not want any additional surgeries.
Damn, I was afraid that was what I was seeing.Agreed. I said before his body is just to the point where he can only do so much.

LOL, you're being serious? The injuries have affected Pemsl mentally more than anything. He had opportunities to score and didn’t even look at the rim several times. Can’t play 4 on 5 on offense.
I think that's probably true. I'm hoping like Evelyn that Pemsl will gain that confidence as the year goes on. Cordell's definitely a great team player. The injuries have affected Pemsl mentally more than anything. He had opportunities to score and didn’t even look at the rim several times. Can’t play 4 on 5 on offense.
I don't think anyone is blaming Cordell, but he is not an effective player right now. If that doesn't improve soon, I really think Till is the better option.
IMO if you don't see that you are short changing Cordell. Iowa will need him to start trusting himself and I'm confident he can add more to the team in terms of scoring and drawing shooting fouls.LOL, you're being serious?
He's also a team leader, at least verbally. Its pretty common to see him take Kreiner or Garza aside during a timeout and fire them up, Not that Luka needs any extra motivation... It all helps the end result.
His body has failed him in many ways but he has ability above a lot of people even in his current physical state.
He is a gamer SOB and that does a lot to help a team. He was mentally tough for this team when no one else was.
Completely, I generally DVR games and pause them at points that I think are important to remember. I counted three times. Considering he didn’t play much, that number is alarming to me.LOL, you're being serious?
Cordell was never fast but freshman year he showed really quick inside moves, pivot and up and under. He shows none of that quickness now. Looks surprised when he does get open. Always liked the kid. He really can only get stronger and quicker as all the physical stuff starts to heal and he gets in better game shape, assuming the injuries ever fully heal.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he did after this season. Right now, even as physically limited as he is from all the injuries, he is still an important piece for this team. 8-10 minutes from him is critical to give a little rest to the starters. Till can help some, but none of the walk-ons are capable of providing any meaningful front court time. You have to wonder if maybe it's time to hang up the tennis shoes
Huh?Not sure that they've beat a good team yet, hopefully they'll show they can.
