They are ugly, not overly accurate, and the controls are shitty, but, they ****ing work everytime.

Had a PPKS for a brief time in the late 90s. If I were right handed I'd still own it. At least at that time they were deemed unsafe to carry one in the pipe without the safety engaged. A non ambi safety made this tough for a lefty.
The agency I worked for switched from 3rd Gen Smith to Glocks. Price is what kept them from going with the then superior Sig.
Right now personally I own 2 Sigs and no Glocks.
I love its simplicity and weight. My Sauer has a decocking mechanism that was pretty progressive for its era.
