I always liked him on that show. And it was sad to hear about his difficult health issues. RIP.
The world needs a lot more Frank Fritz's, and less of whatever we have these days. RIPIP good sir.
He was a great guy. A good representative of Bettendorf and the Quad Cities. He's older than me so I never met him until after high school.
Must have. Wolfe was with him when he passed according to KWQC.
He had a pretty unceremonious exit from the show. I always thought they were business partners, apparently they weren't in business together at all and just traveled together. I know some people who have ran into both of them and they said they are/were nice down to earth guys.
My cousin who is a DJ in the QC area was very good friends with him. Frank was in his wedding and was one of the last to talk to Frank. Sounds like a horrible last few months.
I met him and the other guy on the show in Tallahassee about 14 years ago. They were at the bar at Miller's Ale House right next to me and my buddy. My friend recognized them immediately and started talking to them. I don't watch the show so I had no idea who they were but they were nice and down to earth.
He had a stroke a few years back and I don't think he ever recovered. I also think he had some issues with alcohol, he was known to drink a lot.
