If you are interested in crypto this should be a must watch event.

The company responsible for bringing XRP to the world and its CEO have been fighting the SEC for a decade and came out on top. The history of Ripple and XRP is a fascinating tale of working thru the government roadblocks and becoming a company that can/will make SWIFT obsolete.

We are in the first inning of crypto integration into all our lives

I am not a person who generally becomes a fanboy of anything but in this case I am.

I don’t get how this improves my life. Or, the world at large.

It’s also more dangerous than the current system. Yes it has positives in being decentralized for the third world but it is dangerous. There is a reason it’s the choice for criminal organizations.
What are the 3 top "dangers" for $BTC, not the shitcoins?

Nothing in that made me think crypto is a good thing.
Hawk tua girl started her own and took the ramaswamy route to scamming people. It’s an unreal market that is a scam where the house makes the money. It’s Vegas with a grater reach and far more criminal connections.

Put your study hat on and do some research. Keep in mind that crypto is not monolithic, it is ubiquitous in its use.
by crypto if you mean blockchain yes. but if you mean cryptocurrency it remains to be seen. that said if the US gov (trump) gives cc legitimacy some billionaires and perhaps even commoners might diversify merely to hedge some of their wealth in cryptocurrency just in case someday dollar takes a hit.

I like you, @THE_DEVIL, but I hate Crypto Bros with a burning passion. Just routinely some of the worst and most gullible people I’ve ever met. The one intriguing story revolving around crypto is El Salvador.

If the gov finally gives clarity the vast majority of the money will be made on the private ledgers. Retail investors will have to choose wisely or they will get ****ed.

Brazil is working on some big things I hear. I believe Russia is getting funds thru the blockchain. Along with the other members of BRICS they are trying to get rid of the $ as the base currency. That’s going to be tough but you never know.

This guy is pretty nuts, but he does know $BTC and has been accumulating it for years. Sounds like yours truly!! >

Surly even the tiniest minds out there can understand what the evolution of this trend means? Microsoft is on the verge of the same adoption, as well as god only knows how many other entities including entire nations! >

As an investment vehicle, it’s really really incredible.

As a technology driving innovation it’s a nothing burger.

For the record I have holdings in bitcoin.

A solution in search of a problem, and a horrible energy hogging contributor to climate change.
The BTC community is responsible for 99.999999997%. Of energy consumption. Most everything else does not mine.

Speaking of BTC, it uses Tether as backing. Tether is supposed to be a stable coin linked to the dollar. It is not as it “invents” liquidity to keep BTC artificially inflated.

So the insane level of demand for something with fixed supply has nothing to do with the price of $BTC? Quick….you better warn Blackrock because they are notoriously stupid with a buck!! 😂🤡😂🥩
