I wish I could. I have family coming into town. This will be the first game I miss this year.

Winebrenner in Iowa City might be taking a charter. There usually is a bar or two in Iowa that makes this trip. Does anyone know of any?

Im bringing my 4 sons over and going with 2 college buddies and their kids. Kids tickets were only $10!

Half jokingly asked my wife if we could load up the car and take our 4 and 1 year-old sons on a little road trip to Bloomington.

She laughed, I cried (and died) a little inside.

From the living room it is.

But in all seriousness, I wouldn't want it any other way. Be safe, cheer loud and bring home a victory for all of you lucky enough to be there in person!

My 9 year old
Son and I will be making the trip. What lot will the RV be in or where is the party? We will have to swing by. We bought tickets in the visitor section so can't wait to be around Hawk fans.

Seriously? Did you buy them from the Indiana ticket office? If they're that cheap, I may be making the drive from North Liberty with the kids.

My friend who lives in Indy got them. I do believe he got them from the Indiana ticket office. Its no surprise really. This is my 3rd trip there. My guess is that around 30-35 K will be at the game and 10-12K of those will be Hawk fans.

My oldest son and I will be in Bloomington cheering on our Hawks!!

Everyone thinking about going and needing tickets. Go to Indiana's athletic website and click on tickets. Upper right hand corner it says "promo Code" put in the word PARENTS and it will kick the price of and adult ticket down from $55 to $39. Youth tickets are $10. The Iowa section is section 101. There are plenty of tickets throughout the whole stadium let alone section 101. Cheers

Kids 18 and under are $10. You can buy them from the Hoosier's website. Just select 'youth' when purchasing your ticket.

The first person to post a selfie taken with this man at the game will receive 2 free tickets to the Nebraska bowl game this year. Get him to autograph this picture and you can take the kids with you. He will be one of the 15, maybe 20, people wearing red. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

Use the coupon code PARENTS on the IU website and you get adult tickets for $39, youth for $10, but you have to buy a $6 food voucher (hot dog and a coke) for each adult. Not sure if the food is required for the kids tickets. Even with the food voucher, you're paying $10 less than face for the ticket.

Leaving at 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Around a 6 hour drive, plus the 1 hour time difference, should be there by 11 a.m. for a 3:30 kickoff.

I'll be looking for three, possibly four tickets when we get there. Let me know if you have some folks that can't make it and you need to sell some tickets.

Looks like we are making the trek down tomorrow! Any insight on tailgate spots or where Hawks fan will be tailgating? I'm not very fun, but my girlfriend is attractive and likes to dance when she drinks. If that helps our cause. :D Go Hawks!
