Anyone ever flown to Vegas and drive to Pasadena? It's still cheap and easy to get to Vegas from Iowa and was wondering if I am better of renting a car or flying another airline. (Since allegiant and frontier s flights don't connect)

The drive is about 4 hours from Vegas. I actually booked a flight from Kansas City to Vegas for $ 250 nonstop. Rental car was about $125.

Spirit unfortunately. But I'd guess the price has gone up. I booked 15 minutes after it was announced.
