Marco Rubio is going hard after the vote in Nevada, but don’t expect him to go stumping in any of the state’s legal brothels in an attempt to come ahead of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.

During a stop on Monday, he told reporters he won’t be hitting up the brothels, especially the one in Elko where he’ll be campaigning ahead of Tuesday’s GOP caucus.

“I’m anti-prostitution,” Rubio said, according to CNN. “We won’t be visiting them.”

Rubio did say that while he wishes the state would outlaw it, prostitution is strictly a state issue.

“I’m not talking about federalizing that issue,” Rubio said, according to The Washington Post. “I want to shrink the government, not grow it. Suffice it to say I wish Nevada would make it illegal but that’s their decision to make. I don’t agree with it.”

Rubio’s statements should have little impact on the outcome of Tuesday’s race, especially considering the prostitutes from the most well-known brothel in the state have thrust their support behind Democrat Hillary Clinton, who won on Saturday.

Rubio is currently 20 points behind Trump and four points behind Cruz in Nevada, according to the Real Clear Politics polling average.

Are any candidates planning to make prostitution legal nationwide? I could support that. Prostitution stings ruin lives unnecessarily. This would narrow the wage gap between males and females significantly as well...

It's not a federal issue unless you're bringing hookers across state lines.

This sounds to me like he's appealing to the Cruz crowd for when the day comes that CrookedCruz drops out.

That's about the day after Super Tuesday.

Trump vs RubioBot... must see TV.

I had to really focus to not form a mental image of that.

I'm more wondering what a hooker's federal tax return looks like? Sure they pay state taxes, but I imagine the federal government is missing out. Now, imagine if it were federally legal, the revenue gained would probably be enormous.

You're required to report all income from whatever the source (even illegal activities). Your tax return can't be used as evidence against you in a court of law. Capone went down for tax evasion, not for his gangster activities.

Interesting that a man running on getting the government out of our lives is trying to tell us who we can and cannot have sex with.

I was curious so I googled how sex workers filed taxes. It seems their filings are about as accurate as waiters, waitresses, and others who work primarily for tips. Apparently, many keep other jobs that do have a paper trail so they can report those earnings on federal forms. There are also sex workers groups that help give tax advice to strippers and prostitutes. Fascinating, and I'm now done spending time on it.

The local police conducted some kind of raid in one of our largest strip clubs here in Las Vegas about two weeks ago ... looking for prostitution violations. About all they found was some "boob touching" and lesser stuff. They ended up with a handful of arrests for boob touching, but mostly they simply disrupted the business for a couple of hours.

The girls seemed to be quite angry over the intrusion ... or at least the one I spoke to found it infuriating. She apparently had a customer at hand who she considered a little more deep-pocketed than most who decided to leave in the middle of the whole thing.

Friedrich Trump ran brothels when he came to the US from Germany. Donald Trump runs casinos where prostitution occurs. I can only assume President Trump would be pro hooker.

No, he's not. He's trying to draw a proper line on the coercive nature of money.

Pretty simple really:

Line 1 Income:
a. Blowjobs
b. Handjobs
c. Sex
d. Videos

Line 2 Deductions:
a. KY Jelly
b. Whips and chains
c. Handcuffs
d. Penicillin
e. Boob job

Line 3 Subcontractors:
a. Pimp
b. Planned Parenthood
c. Advertising
d. Plastic surgeon

Line 4 Depreciation:
a. Rapid ( 7 year )
1) Vagina
2) Anus
b. Regular ( 20 year )
1) Boobs
2) Lips

Subtract lines 3 and 2 from line 1. Amortize line 4 over the years employed. Send the remainder to Bernie Sanders.

I really have no idea how they handle that, but I agree that this is an important issue ... one that every lively young boy and girl should be able to answer.

Here is the sum total of my experience in that area:

They seem to treat prostitution about the same as a speeding ticket here. I am basing this on a telephone call I made to the county court system to figure out where to mail a check for running a red light. The very first option on their telephone robo-transfer system went something like "if you have been arrested for prostitution, and are a first time offender, and would like to enroll in the 'bad-bad girl wants to be good again' class/course select option #1."

So, in any case should a young girl find herself on the receiving end of a boob-fondling charge, she should know that she will have the option to straighten herself out ... probably through some sort of social program that a clever girl could game a bit.

I was kind of wondering about the men who touched the boobs too...I wonder what happens with them?

Probably not much of anything ... Remember that they would be "under the spell" as the incident was taking place.

Although everyone is always talking up the men's roles in these sorts of incidents/crimes, I don't think that it ever much happens that they are arrested.

I had the sense from talking to the girl from the club that they only arrested a handful of the girls ... She made no mention of any customers being arrested.

Makes sense. I was thinking maybe a guy at a strip club who got a little carried away and touched a boob was suddenly going to be labeled a sex offender for life, which would suck. Here's the likely scenario:

Officers sitting around in the locker room talking about their latest strip club experiences, when one guy, we'll call him Robby, is asked about his experience and says, "my wife would divorce me if I were ever in one of those places..."

"Hey Robby, you know part of your job is to enforce laws IN strip clubs right?"

Robby: "uhhhh"

"That's right Robby, tomorrow! We goin' to the strip club! We'll have to hand out a couple of tickets to make it worthwhile work, but you'll get your eyes will thank you!"

story continues as told in previous posts...

Our thrust is to prick holes in the stiff front erected by the prostitution industry. We must keep mounting an offensive to penetrate any crack in their defenses so we can to lay to rest their dominant position. We want them hung and we want fast action. Let's get on 'em. Let's ram through a stiff bail law..so it will be hard for them to get it up. We've got to come together so we can whip this thing into submission. It'll be hard on us, but we can’t lick it by being soft!

(apologies to George Carlin)
