it was certainly an interesting journey for the guy. Barely going .500 for a mid tier big ten school and losing his starting spot, transferring to an elite program and being coached by the "it" coach in college football and making a pretty good run at Michigan, then defying the odds and getting drafted, then playing pretty well in NFL preseason games...better than any other hawkeye qb in the past 25 yrs, only to be one of the last guys cut before the nfl football season starts. It sounds like he was signed to their practice squad. I'll hand it to him, he overachieved based on his talents.
