S&P indexed to inauguration day

for R's, it matters until it doesn't. See stupid stanzi above
It's nice how the narrative has now become there "has to be" a recession. Inflation and recession were always going to happen.

They cheerfully ignore the promises Trump made on the campaign trail. He never spoke of a recession or markets falling except when talking about what would happen with Harris or Biden as president. When referring to himself it was all winning. And he promised winning would be fast. He promised markets would go up bigly. He promised prices would come down.

Instead prices continue to climb, markets are in a free fall and people are getting jittery that a recession is likely in the near term.

Up is down and down is up to the MAGA base. I think they are going to find out in the midterms that the casual voters who either sat out the 24 election (or grudgingly voted Trump) are not the allies they thought they were.

The drop was coming either way.

I told everyone the market was going to fall this year before tariffs were even mentioned.

I went 100% cash on 2/6 and have saved roughly 10% already.

If you follow certain indicators/ratios like I do, you would have realized that the market was WAY OVERVALUED.

With that said, Trump has definitely made things go down more and faster than I expected.

But to think this is all on Trump is foolish. He just added a little fuel to a fire that was going to start soonish.

I selfishly celebrate everyday the market goes down, I enjoy a good sale. :)

Picking up right where they left the nation last time around.

I wonder if Republicans will chose to ignore the first year of the administration like they do the fourth year of the first term?

You still standing by your POtuS. So much winning.

So quick to judge moron.

Show me where I stated he was MY president.

The market was going to go down anyways.

This much? Of course not.

Hence the "Trump has definitely made things go down more and faster than I expected."

NEXT.

I won't hide or ignore this. :)

I voted for the Orange guy. LOL

I agree with things on both sides, that's the honest truth.

I lean more to the right which is why I voted for the Republican. Both candidates were terrible, I think everyone can agree on that.

I'm not a fan of him, that's also the honest truth. Even though I voted for him, I've said the best thing for this country is for him to die. I'm almost positive if you looked hard enough you would find that statement from me on here.

Once again, I voted for the party I'm closer to. I certainly don't look at him as my guy.

The country needs to get closer together and it can't do that with him alive. :)

Your whole gd party needs to die if we're talking about the truth.

That's a lot of cognitive dissonance.
