I appreciate the honesty. If you’ve seen all the things Trump has done, if you’ve even found yourself hoping he’d disappear from public life but still voted for him, maybe it’s time to ask whether blind party loyalty is really worth it. I’m certain, you would be better off today if Harris was in office. She wasn’t the best candidate but in comparison to Trump, she was a godsend. Trump is a disaster who could do some real long lasting damage to our country if he already hasn’t.I won't hide or ignore this.

Once again, I voted for the party I'm closer to. I certainly don't look at him as my guy.

I’d be content if Republican voters simply stopped consuming news sources that relentlessly demonize liberals. So much of the hatred stems from a warped caricature of what Democrats and liberals actually believe and represent. This is a major mental block that keeps so many republicans from seeing things for what they are.

When the vix goes above 50 it bodes well for the markets on a 1,3,5 year forward looking. Never in history has the market been down 12 months after vix crosses 50. Just like the market has never been negative in a mid term election year. Markets go up, they go down. What I’m saying is don’t judge on 2-months. 2022 was far worse, only saw that decline 3x in history. Let’s revisit this in 1-year and see where it’s at. If I’m right you take a year break from HROT. It can't do that with him in power. If he would have lost again it's possible the R's would have come to their senses a bit. Instead they have just had it confirmed that his style of politics is how to win elections.
It will take a lot of losing to change their minds on this.
