He's a Brady Ellingson type player so no worries, man.Can anyone tell me of the current roster, who's game Sandfort reminds them of?
Wieskamp.. not quite as athletic but size, shooting ability, style are very similarCan anyone tell me of the current roster, who's game Sandfort reminds them of?

He reminds me of Korver
the kid can simply make shots from everywhere
58% from 3 and 97% from the line!? 👀
Seriously? Is he knocking them down from 22 ft. though? 97% from the line. Oh my.58% from 3 and 97% from the line!? 👀
Through 9 games this seasonSeriously? Is he knocking them down from 22 ft. though? 97% from the line. Oh my.
Wait, this game or for the season?
Yeah he has 38 3pt attempts and 30 FT attempts, so not a huge sample size, but not inconsequential eitherThrough 9 games this season

FWIW, his sophomore brother Pryce is 17/30 from 3, good for nearly 57%, as essentially a spot up shooter on that loaded Waukee team. The two can shoot!
I just meant that, because of DeVries/Payton/Biliew, Pryce hasn’t had to do much so far this year aside from shoot. 3/4 of his shot attempts are from 3Here is Waukee's starting lineup of late:
F-Omaha Biliew 6'8" soph
F-Wyatt Heston 6'7" sr
F-Payton Sandfort 6'7" sr
G-Pryce Sandfort 6'5" soph
G-Tucker DeVries 6'7" sr
That's pretty much positionless basketball

And they returned everyone and now are winning games by an average margin of 30 points. They had a surprising hiccup against Johnston when Devries didn't play but for this team to not win state assuming they are at full strength come tournament time might take an act of God. Similar category as the Barnes/McDermott Ames teams and the Paige/Matt Bohannon Linn-Mar team that went undefeated.Well, everyone assumed they would win State last year easily, then Ankeny High crashed the party.

Yes.Is Tucker DeVries the son of the Drake head coach?
If those numbers are correct, the comp is Jobo58% from 3 and 97% from the line!? 👀

A 6’7 JB with some defensive versatility hopefully. The updated stats were 48% from 3 and 95% from the line. Not too shabby. His little brother finished 52% from three on 70 attempted which is pretty nutsIf those numbers are correct, the comp is Jobo
Definitely getting a Kyle Korver vibe with his size and shooting. He’d be a nice compliment to the Murray brothers with a quick point guard.I've also considered his game very Kyle Korver-esque.
But for current BigTen players I'd say similar to Miller Kopp at Northwestern
Biliew has had an offer from Fran at Iowa before Omaha transfered from Dowling. 6th or 7th rated player in his class in the country at his position.
I'm guessing that your high school wasn't 3 or 4A.I grew about 2 or 3 inches my sophomore year and I am only 5'9". So Pryce could/should grow at least a couple of inches by senior year. To bad he is so young or Waukee would have every one 6'7" or more! High school!!! Wow. We had a very good (#1 most of year) team and our center was 6'3" and guards were 5'7" and 5'9"!! Times have changed! Dark ages tho! LOL
If this is true (97%) then he can't play for Iowa.58% from 3 and 97% from the line!? 👀
Fran is going go have some nice length on the roster in the next few years. Length that can shoot and eventually after some development, and hopefully put it on the floor a little bit as well, to drive get shots off as well in the lane or through the mid-range game.
The 22-23 season will maybe have a lineup of:
5- Nunge/Josh O (not sure Nunge stays for Sr. Year)
4- Keegan Murray/ Kris Murray
3 - PMac/ P. Sandfort
2 - C.J. Frederick/Tony Perkins
1 - Joe T/Ullis
Positions may be off somewhat. I have a hard time deciding on some of the positions. Things can change, but just a fun little projection of the team a few years down the road.
Does Connor start over Murray next year? I don’t see how you justify that. The only way Connor starts is if he’s the PG, would be my guess. Not being a shooter will/should limit his minutes next year.Spot on with one big question mark. Why do you think C McC is not coming back?
