I'm going to be traveling on Saturday does anyone know if there is a time set yet for the second game or is it decided after Thursday's?

I would guess on of the first games. Iowa isn’t exaclty a huge TV market, and neither is providence (or South Dakota st)

Truth....but I know that when I watch the tournament, (assuming Iowa isn't playing) I try to watch B10 teams whenever I can.

So, assuming it's Iowa v Providence.....might folks from the B10 and the Big East tune in? A regional game like that might draw pretty decent, where as Iowa v SDSU might not draw as much and certainly a Richmond v SDSU would draw very little?

Tournament time most fans watch games in this order...

1. Your team
2. Your conference
3. Most interesting match up available
4. Basketball

Iowa being a popular pick by most TV talking heads, including Dick Vitale, to make the Final Four, I would think people around the country would be curious to see what these guys are seeing in the Hawkeyes. So it seems Iowa would draw a good TV slot, no matter who they're playing. But then that's logic speaking, so take it FWIW.

It certainly matters to the execs at turner. How else do you explain Kansas getting a prime time game against a 16 or Kentucky getting a 6PM tip?
Cuz folks in charge are often morons?

1 16 is easily my least watched matchup and I bet it's the same for many folks.

Saturdays schedule is typically:

One game around 1pm
Four games around 3pm.
Three games in the evening.

The early game is always Duke.

I think you have a 50% chance at late afternoon and 50% chance at evening.

It won't happen, but I would be eternally grateful if the people deciding the scheduling were to have Iowa's 2nd round game be the very last tip time of Saturday night, or at least in that final grouping of tip times.

[won't get home until somewhere between 8:30 and a little after 9p CDT that night]
