Our league is a 12 team Auction style and we upped our bench to 7 and budget to $225 to combat COVID issues. It's not where the player is drafted, it for how much. For example, Justin Tucker was the first player taken in our draft for $1 (any player that is $1 was nominated by that person). I nominated Kirk Cousins with my second choice trying to get the Minnesota Viking homers to waste their cash, but no one bit hence why I landed him for $1.

I gave myself a 6. My RB's are brutal. I didn't want to overspend early on and that's who went, but by the time it was all said and done I missed the boat.
McCaffrey went for $82
Elliot went for $70
Henry went for $80
Kamara went for $77 (Kamara and Henry to the same team)
Barkley went for $66 (I unfortunately had him last year and spent $73)
Chubb went for $70
Aaron Jones went for $62
Jonathon Taylor went for $70
Dalvin Cook went for $69

How many teams are in your league?

Why did you spend $30 on a QB?
12

It probably wasn't a good play and was more than I wanted to spend. I went to upbid by a dollar to $24, but someone setup max offer of $29 around the same moment so my $1 upbid took it from $29 to $30.

Mahomes went for $49
Allen went for $28
Murray went for $28
All three before Rodgers

Why did Dalvin go lower than many running backs? Seems like the has been valued as number two player across the board
He was the second overall selection so I am guessing the bar wasn't set. Good value pick at $69 compared to the others, but I hope he blows chunks this year. Henry and McCaffrey were nominated #4 and #5.

He just looked like a great value compared to going rate for running backs

Just traded:
Javonte Adams
Adam Thielen
Robert Woods

and Received:
David Montgomery
Amari Cooper
Damien Harris.

My thinking is Montgomery is better than Adams and I need the upgrade at RB. I think Cooper and Thielen are close. Woods is better than Harris, but I need more RB depth and I have Devonta Smith, Marquise Brown, and DJ Chark that can fill the void for Robert Woods.

Here's my team in our simple $40 league:

QB Kyler Murray
RB Nick Chubb
RB Elijah Mitchell
WR Mike Evans
WR D.J. Chark
RB Melvin Gordon
K Jason Sanders
D/ST New England
---------------
Julio Jones
Kenyon Drake
Cole Beasley
Zach Pascal
Nelson Agholor
Trey Lance

I had Raheem Mostert, so of course he gets a season-ending injury 2 carries into the first game.

Originally was left with Ben Roethlisberger as my best option available for a backup, but another guy dropped Trey Lance in week 1, so I picked him up to stash away for his future potential.

I wanted Justin Fields but he went right before I could pick my backup.

I'm going with Chark over Julio Jones based on matchups, and the fact that Jones just doesn't score TDs anymore (he'll have two on Sunday)...........

I was lucky to pick up Mitchell before anyone else saw him. He's currently expected to be the lead back, even over the more highly touted Trey Sermon, who was a healthy scratch for whatever reason.

I contemplated taking Sermon in the later rounds just because of Mostert's injury history, but he was gone well before I could get him.

Whats even dumber than fantasy football is fantasy football shows/segments on the radio.

nothing more riviting than a good chunk of time listening to called after caller “i have player X and player Y, who should i start”

f**king dorks
Who should I start in Week 2?

Julio Jones or D.J. Chark

Also,

Melvin Gordon or Kenyon Drake

;)

In one of my leagues I had Mostert and Gus Edwards. So I am thin at running back. I do have Sermon if he ever becomes a factor

so I traded
Diontae Johnson for Eli Mitchell and Courtland Sutton

I really like Johnson, but he is kind of feast or famine. Some weeks he is incredible and some weeks Claypool and Shuster have big weeks
