People wanted something new to discuss, so here is my attempt:
Give alternate line-ups that you think would allow us to mix things up on the offensive end.
Obviously we have the starters:
Gesell - 3rd option // driver when overplaying Uthoff/Jok
Clemmons - 5th option (perhaps should be higher, given his play of late)
Jok - 2nd option // outside shooter
Uthoff - 1st option // Inside/Outside threat to take advantage of mismatches
Woodbury - 4th option // Dump off down low and putback points
If Jok and Uthoff get into foul trouble, I'd like to see the following:
Gesell - Push the ball for as many fast breaks as possible with Uhl and Wagner running the floor
Clemmons - Alternate outlet and competent outside shooter to stretch the floor
Baer - Strong shooter with size to stretch the floor and open driving lanes for Gesell/Clemmons
Uhl - Stretch four to open the paint for Wagner to use quickness or Gesell/Clemmons to drive
Wagner - Pick and roll or putback option
If Gesell and Clemmons get into foul trouble:
Williams - strongest pointguard remaining
Jok - Experienced ball handler that can stretch the floor in the half court
Baer - Decent handles for his size that can stretch the floor in the half court
Uthoff - Could act as point-forward and would be the focal point of this lineup
Uhl - Additional big with above average ball handling
What other line ups would you like to see and why?
