Sean Welsh Is A Stud!

I continue to be mega-impressed with the play of Sean Welsh. While Blythe and Walsh have been rock solid, Welsh has been just as impressive and it is unbelievable how much he has improved from last year. When asked to play right tackle for a game, his play in that game was far and away the best game played by an offensive tackle this year (Croston, Myers and Boettger have been serviceable). The young man has great feet, super balance, a big mean streak and gets to the second and sometimes third levels on most every running play. Kirk has heaped praise on him on several occasions saying that he doesn't know where this team would be without Welsh. He reminds me so much of Marshal Yanda. A big shoutout to Sean Welsh!!!!

Kinda wish they had kept him at RT after NW and let Daniels stay in at LG. But he has done very well. And to think, he wasn't even supposed to be on the team this season!
