Lol I’m in Seattle this weekend and saw at least a half dozen people smoking fentanyl on the sidewalk in broad daylight yesterday.

I love this city but it’s definitely got it’s issues. My buddy who was born and raised here said crime is absolutely up. His kids soccer games will get canceled because the parks are overran with bums.

My shuttle driver on a recent trip to Phoenix was from Seattle. Grew up there and then moved to AZ and four years ago moved back to Seattle. He recently returned to AZ and said he would never live in Seattle again and it’s nothing like it used to be. Talked about all the crime and homeless people and drug problems. He has friends who leave their cars unlocked with signs saying please don’t break the windows there is nothing in the car because they had windows broken out several times. He was really down about how bad it is now.

I hadn’t been to the ID here since pre-covid and was blown away at how rundown it was compared to just a few years ago.
