The calculus is very simple here...nominate totally unqualified idiots and trust that the Senate will take a few sacrificial lambs and pass the rest through. There is absolutely zero chance they block every moronic pick.

If the senate was smart, they would fight every one of these tooth and nail to stifle his agenda.

One of the many totally unqualified, but pushed by Bonespurs because of their self-serving loyalty to him, pick. The country will be so mismanaged, Bonespurs will be a bigger laughing stock with world leaders than he was in his first administration.

This isn't some Lib attack, this is Hegseth being tossed out by his co-workers, and people ideologically aligned with his positions. The man Trump wants to put in charge of 2.8 million people has a history of public drunkeness, using organization funds to fuel his lifestyle, and sexually targeting co-workers.

Hegseth won't last two years even if he gets approved.

Breadbags will definitely vote to approve.
She is a sexual abuser herself.

My question is what is Trump doing while the world scoffs at his selected diversions

Just about every single one of these people are just figureheads. None of them will actually be making any decisions other than to excitedly babble their head up and down every time Trump says too. Oh, and don't wait for the Cabinet meeting where he demands they all verbally suck him off in front of the press. I'm sure they will be good at that too. Real decisions will be made by people we have never heard of and would rather no one ever know them.

I e been told by MAGA friends that Trump is putting media savvy people in top posts. That only works when you have something positive to sell. Trump’s popularity is going to crater just like it did in 2018 and through the end of his first presidency.

You mean even less than the 22% of the population that voted for him are going to think he's not bottoming out when his advancing dementia and overall stupidity rear their ugly heads again? Amazing...

Sure it is. Do you keep telling yourself that so you can sleep at night? The winning has started and will continue.

The New Yorker author says there is more. People have been calling her since story ran with more and more incidents involving Pete. Obviously those will need vetted and corroborated. Think this is tip of iceberg with this guy.

Now that Gaetz is gone they have moved on Hesgeth. This was such a masterful plan by Trump to have so many awful appointments that no one can even spot the good ones which will sneak through unnoticed. He is a true genius.
It’s the same with his lying. Most politicians would have a single lie follow them their whole career. Trump lies all day every day, until there’s no point trying to keep up. Until he’s immune from criticism for lying.

That cabinet meeting was actually frightening. It was inching its way towards Saddam Hussein’s meeting where one by one he called out all of his enemies names to be dragged out and executed, while the rest applauded enthusiastically, if nervously.

Well, his Big Lie will certainly live on in infamy and be forever tied to his name. History will be brutal to him.

Honestly doesn’t matter Trump wants a pick that follows orders. After he gets one. He’ll fire the Joint Chiefs. Then call back retired generals and place them in spots that won’t say no to unconstitutional orders. Such as seizing voting machines or riot control in US cities.
