If Pete does what he says that he'll do, end DEI and fire all of the senior officers who supported it, reinstalls a warrior ethos in the military, fires all officers associated with the Afghanistan debacle and curtails all of the bloat at the Pentagon he will be an American hero. All of those politicians that pretend that they are worried about what this wll do to servicemembers don't know WTF they are talking about. The junior officers, most non-commissioned officers and enlisted are sickened by what Biden and Obama did to the military. Go Pete Go.

He’s not getting the job. It’s going to be an endless stream of Republican witnesses detailing his alcoholism, sexual aggressiveness, and financial management inability. It’s one thing to say it’s a couple of jealous co workers. But when it turns into a near two decade pattern it’s over.
Pete has an excellent service career. Well decorated. It’s his time after the military that isn’t good. The job isn’t playing arm chair QB from the Fox & Friends couch.. It’s 24/7, emergencies happen at any given time. You can’t be nursing the bottle or a hangover.

Trump's transition team just agreed to FBI background checks for all high level nominees as part of the confirmation process. This is a good thing, and we can find out how many of the allegations against all the nominees have substance.
Are they still dead, or has one of them been nominated for something by Trump? Did either of them steal from a non-profit?
