Verne and Gary are no different than most of the national media announcing big wigs. Always riding the top dog. They rode Florida during the Tebow/Meyer era and now it's Saban.

However, they're also all about the hot team at the time, just like most. If Auburn was 11-0 playing a 7-4 Alabama, they'd be all over Auburn's jock. (though they'd still make time to kiss Saban's butt....weekly requirement to maintain that CBS contract with the SEC)
