God, I hate the SEC. I get that it doesn't matter in the big picture but it gets really old how the SEC thinks they're on another level and how the media buys in to that belief so that good teams from other conferences are automatically dropped down because their conferences don't play the "competition" the SEC teams do.

He's never watched Iowa I would put 100 bucks on it.. The solid verbal podcast kind of dogged Iowa all year long too and then he said he finally watched Iowa wire to wire against Indiana and he gets it now. Thinks Iowa is a dang good ball team that should be top 6-7 right now!
The SEC gets ZERO credibility from me because NONE of them play outside their region. Go play Stanford at Stanford. Go play north of the mason Dixon line just 1. Better yet, let's get Bama or LSU vs Ohio State or Iowa at lambeau field or soldier field in December! They get bowl games with the big ten, which by the way we're the conference that actually stands toe to toe with them, no other league is lining up for bowl affiliations with the SEC. But EVERY one of those bowls is played in SEC country. It's their home turf for Christ's sake. We play Florida in bowl games in the state of Florida! It's a joke. And to me the SEC is a good league but I have no respect for them for refusing to play outside their turf.
I got the mindlessly stupid and annoying Dr. Pepper CFP ad that as soon as it started, I clicked it off so I didn't even see the video.
That game does look fantastic though.
Best way to get the SEC out of it's element is to expand the playoffs to 8 teams with the top 4 seeds receiving a home playoff game one week after the conference championship games. This would expand the field like people want and finally give the northern state teams a chance to make the southern teams come north to play big boy cold weather football.

They're still pissed that the SEC west got their faces kicked-in in bowl games last year. Alabama got destroyed by Oklahoma and run over by Ohio State in back to back bowl games yet they're still above criticism. Good grief the SEC is getting ridiculous. I lived in Alabama for 5 years and can tell you first hand, that part of the country has nothing else to hang their hat on. Football is what they identify with because they're not good at anything else.

They are the ones that coined that whole "talk to your kids about Iowa thing". It's a fun college podcast they do twice a week that covers most of the top 25..
Sec don't travel 'cuz their fans are all poor hillbillies, and their players are too stupid to find their way back.
I look at this way....if somebody is going to talk bad about my Mama I have a problem with that, especially if I do not know them! It is the same with the Hawkeyes for me
eh, Iowa is relevant this year...haters just happen to go with the territory. It would be an exhausting endeavor to go out and set every schmuck straight that espn throws in front of a camera as well as any other "expert" with a platform
I am from Iowa and grew up on a farm, every morning was an exhausting endeavor....sticking it to this D-bag and Colin Cowerd (SP?) for not only talking smack but stating misinformation and claiming them as facts is nothing compared to that
