Yes. Cheatle is the captain of the ship.
Probably…..even though the “Security” of that particular building had been assigned by theSS to a local LE agency….and they decided to secure the property from “inside”the structure as opposed to putting a body on the roof.
Like I have said, SS is the “low hanging fruit” here….even though their plan might have been “perfect” and some part of the plan screwed up, most folks will blame the Secret Service and its lead officials.

If it was YOUR life, do you want the most qualified people protecting it or the most diverse?

How do YOU know the women being hired are not the more qualified of the applicants, HM? You are supposing they aren’t based on, what? Perhaps the point of the comment was women were not being hired for SS positions because….they were women……and the new director is ensuring women get ant least equal treatment for future openings?

yesterday I heard an interview with either don jr or eric, one of trump's sons. I get them mixed up on the radio because I cannot see them and they both have that NY accent, anywhos.... he said that one female agent on stage, the blonde one, not the holster chick.... was his good friend and she was great. very good. very kind and would do anything for you. he likes her. I dunno about any other of these ladies, but that's what he said about this one.

But if you start making hiring decisions such as "we want 30% of our ee's to be women" that most likely means SOME (not all) are getting jobs over more qualified individuals.

That goes for sex, color, religion, orientation, everything.

Sex and color should NEVER be the focus on a hire. Never.

There are. Plenty of jobs in every type of venture where females are. As qualified as males…and vice versa…..”best qualified” is a subjective assessment at best…..in the real world you and I both understand this seldom if ever occurs…..Hiring qualified people is paramount…….”best qualified” is blue sky personnel speak.

There are certain jobs men perform better at. There is a reason a woman has never been an NFL lineman protecting the quarterback.

I tall, strong, fast, smart man is better equipped to protect a president when the expectation is that the secret service person will put their own body in front to stop a bullet.

As we saw Saturday, a short woman struggled to cover the face of the president who is a foot taller than her.
The only job you’re good at is being a dumbass.

Nope, this is the insanity. Watch the 30 second clip of the head of secret service explaining why the roof the assassin was on wasn't secured. This is the type of shit you get when the wrong people are hired for the wrong reasons for critical jobs like these.

You’re going to need define what “most qualified” means then. I doubt there’s a law enforcement agency in the country with higher qualification standards in the country than the Secret Service - particularly for the protection details.

In my opinion, “most qualified” at that level of qualification is almost meaningless.

We do know brains are different between male and female. Years ago, when I watched the female co-pilot (when you could wait at the gate) bring the plane to the gate. When she parked, she pulled the visor down, fixed her hair and redid her lipstick. No kidding.
Plus they get their periods. Who needs 'em, amirite?
