Just got 3 tickets, not much left but lots of blocks of tickets out there. I had 0 concerns going into this game, as the game continued I continued to grow more and more concerned and at about the 7 minute mark was thinking they are done. Well, Iowa didn't think that and fought back and look at this shit!!!!!! 5 in a row Hawks! Sell out the arena and lets freaking beat the Cryin Illini on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about going but it is also super bowl Sunday and I don't think I want to be driving 2 hours home during super bowl. I agree this is a huge game for big ten title aspirations

I hear ya, coming from Des Moines Metro so close to 2 hours, the big thing is it is a noon game, 2 hour trip home you are there by 5 and the game starts at 5:30. Hope you can make it. Weather looks great too which is HUGE.

HAWK FANS, WEATHER IS GOOD FOR SUNDAY, WE PLAY AT NOON SO HOME EASILY FOR SUPER BOWL IF YOU ARE WITHIN 2 HOURS OF CARVER. SELL IT OUT PROBABLY 1K OR SO LEFT LETS ****ING GO!!!!!!!

They always do and they will be louder than our students. Did you see something that said they are coming for sure?
Yeah. They are finally good at a sport and it happens to be the only one they care about

If you haven't been in Carver the last 3 games you would know the Crush will not be louder than the Iowa fans.

I bet it sells out. I suck at judging the remaining tickets by selecting the seat but looks like there may be 750-1,000 seats left. Good weather will help.

I've only been to one game at CHA when the Krush invaded. (I think we have been their annual trip at least twice). They're not nearly as clever as they think they are. Gee,150 20-year olds sitting in a block. No one is going to mistake that for additional Iowa students who decided to show up. If they wanna be cute (and this a public message board), they should dress as blue hairs.

Roll out the welcome mat. Nothing energizes a crowd more than a loud fanbase from the other team. We're happy to take your money and then your pride.

1) Amazing idea, that would be hilarious, haha.

2) I have a feeling Krush is traveling to NU this year ... tickets for Illinois at Northwestern are literally five times as expensive as any of their home games, and that likely means Illini fans bought them all up. It’s always like a neutral court game, but I could see us outnumbering NU fans 2:1 this year, lol.

Seems to me, the last time the Krush showed their faces at Carver, they left the game early dejected.

You are quite correct, sir. Went to that game with my Iowa buddies, and it was a very "dejecting" ending from an Illini perspective, lol. I remember it was a weeknight and snowing pretty badly. And, to make matters worse (for us), I do believe that was the Orange Krush's first witnessed loss in CHA. I know they were there in 2004 (W 78-59), 2005 (W 75-65) and 2010 (W 57-49, the one most of you remember, as they were behind the basket).

I want to say that was in 2015, with Iowa winning 68-60? I was at nearly every Iowa-Illinois game back when I lived in IC (great place!), and I seem to remember this one being one of the many nails in John Groce's coffin, haha.

As for real game talk, I am nervous for this one. Last night proved that you guys are a little more beatable when you aren't raining threes, but I worry about Kofi getting into foul trouble against Garza, especially on the road. We could find ourselves still hot from a (hopefully by then) 7-game winning streak but lacking the depth due to foul trouble to pull out the victory. If you guys are hot from three, I fear we might get in trouble early and have trouble clawing back; however, thanks to a pretty massive defensive adjustment from Underwood this year, our three point defense is MUCH, much better, and I do not anticipate us leaving as many shooters wide open.

Here's to a good game without any nut punches or chest stomps.

Lots of movement I see on hawkeyesports.com. A few sections have seats next to each other still so good opportunity for those Hawk fans who haven't ordered yet but down to singles and grayed out sections mostly. Love it, should be sold out soon.

Lowest price on stubhub is just over $50 right now.

Less then 100 now with still a few rows of multiples available. Last shot it seems or you are paying a lot more.

Wish we tailgated on decent weather days but that’s not a thing. I’d recommend parking DT, hit Joes & BoJames, then take an Irish carbomb at Donnelly’s before you hop in an Uber to Carver.
