Interesting article in the Omaha World Herald concerning the transfer of college BB players and attrition rates. This article came on the heels of recent announcements by Tarin Smith and Walter Pitchford that they were no longer going to play basketball at Nebraska (sorry no link to the article as I am reading the printed version). The article mentioned that the national attrition rate (not necessarily the transfer rate) was an average of 40 percent. Nebraska's attrition rate since Miles was hired is 45.5 percent. Found these numbers unusually high as compared to Iowa. I can only think of one player (Kyle Meyer) who left while Fran coached. Are there any others?
