It's my honor to take the trip down memory lane, I love looking back at some of these studs. It was brought to my attention that there were a number of NCAA Champs who won it their freshman year before McIlravy, my apologies, just seemed to stand out in my mind that he was the first. I should have done more research. I stand corrected. Also, interesting article I've linked here.
