Should've retired Jbo's number, too

That's a universal basketball rule for refs to tell the scoring table who the foul is on. You can't show the number 7 with one hand

Yet Luka Doncic wears #77 and the NBA refs have figured out a way to call fouls on him. Evidently college and HS refs are incapable of doing that?

I've worked at scorers tables, 99% of the fouls one of the refs comes over and tells the scorers who the foul was on (52, white, push, 2 shots). So why do they need only one hand?

Garza was a two time B1G POTY and likely National POTY as well. Bohannon has never been a 1st or 2nd team all-conference player. Nice career? Definitely. Retiring his number alongside Luka’s? Would be kind of insulting in my eyes

I'll say this, if JBo hits the National Title winning 3 from the logo next month, screw it, retire #3 and don't look back.

George Mikan of the Lakers wore #99.

Unless you are Big Ten Player of Year and First Team All-American, it’s not worth discussion unless you do something unworldly.
Now bring home national championship and we can have discussion in few weeks.

It’s comical someone really feels like this guy should have had his number retired as well. Just take a look at this game as a prime example. Garza is playing like a guy fighting to keep his college career going. The other guy is busy tweeting about everything and getting shut out on the big stage in his last college game. He put up good numbers but they were loaded numbers.

Zero points in your last career game, after complaining about his swag bag and talking crap about the NCAA all week, is not what you want to do for your legacy.

15 years from now, do people think of him like BJ and Andre? Or like Horner and Gessel? At least Horner was BTT MVP even if he never won an NCAA tourney game.
