P.S. The ratings below are easier to read if you click the link.

Each week I will get the power ratings from the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, ESPN's Will Harris and Bruce Marshall of the Gold Sheet, then combine them with my power ratings to give you the consensus Vegas power ratings.

Vandy +9.5 among weekend's worst bad beats
If you had Vanderbilt +9.5 on Saturday against Florida, avert your eyes. Here are the worst gambling bad beats this past weekend.

These ratings are less about a team's record and more about the overall talent each team possesses -- reflecting which team would be favored if they met at a neutral site.

Here are the top 25 bettor power rankings.

Last updated: Oct. 22

Week 9 notes: With Ohio State's loss last week, Clemson is the clear No. 2 team in the country, holding a 4.1-point edge over the No. 3 team, Michigan. While the Buckeyes fell out of the Top 10 in the AP Poll, they only dropped to No. 6 in the Vegas rankings. Two teams made substantial climbs in the Vegas rankings in Washington State (up to No. 19) and Purdue (up to No. 29), as both teams won at home over College Football Playoff contenders. Oregon, who trailed 27-0 at halftime against Washington State, dropped eight spots to No. 20 while Michigan State, who had just 94 yards of total offense against Michigan last week fell seven spots to No. 27 in the Vegas rankings.

Iowa State is 3-3, so naturally they aren't drawing AP Votes. But with losses to Iowa, Oklahoma and TCU factored in with solid wins over Oklahoma State and West Virginia, the Cyclones are a top 25 team in the Vegas rankings (No. 22); FPI only has the Cyclones at No. 37. The Vegas Power Ratings currently have Alabama 14.9 points better than LSU in the week leading up to their marquee showdown in Baton Rouge.
