I see Blair (Sanderson) mentioned his name among the Iowa Western JuCO names on his twitter account for Aug 24. Richardson redshirted his first year at University of Kentucky and has transferred to Iowa Western to reignite his football life. He was rated a 4 star athlete and committed early to Kentucky before major offers rolled in or took several visits. If Blair mention his name, I am deducing that means Iowa is watching and possibly offering the big 6'4" WR if all turns out well.

Seriously though... when you say reignite his football life, what do you mean? Was he disappointed in redshirting? Did he lose interest? Or did he just really want bigger offers since he did commit to Kentucky so early? Seems like an interesting prospect.

Reignite-- I mean that he opens up his recruitment opportunities. Iowa could use a guy with 3 years of playing time and a quality athlete at WR. #114 Rivals ranking in 2017. Hope academics are okay.

No interest from Iowa yet. Just one of the Iowa Western players I'm keeping tabs on this season.

So far, Iowa State is showing the most interest. I don't think they've offered yet though.
