SIAP: Trump’s Late Night Puuurge

I don't think that he has the power to unilaterally do this without Congress being involved but given what we've seen for a week, both sides of the aisle seem ok with removing the safeguards in place to let him do whatever he wants.
Please stop "thinking".....

I mean: if “working” means (once again) violating federal law, then Donnie is crushing it.

Think Chuck will be as concerned as he was in 2020?

Laws don't matter anymore because lawyers are the slowest-moving of any professionals and make themselves easy to circumvent. Welcome to the tech-bro disrupt culture where the law is dismissed in favor of doing so much damage in such a short amount of time that the damage is already done by the time the courts, attorneys, their time extensions, their rebuttals, etc. get around to addressing it. See: AI's blatant use of copyrighted materials

So is H4adays goal just to overwhelm this thread? There is no defense, just calling people names and trying to completely overwhelm the topic.

There is no defense for this. Trump is merely trying to eliminate any oversight. Republicans can say what they want, but this is what many in this country have warned about. This is merely the start.

Makes sense as to why they are going balls to the wall with this shit…

He's flagrantly violating the law here dumbass, going out of his way to assert his power to defy the law.

I know, Hunter Biden and the big guy's 10%.
Get off the tracks or get run over by the Trump Train, girlie >

It's OK though American Democracy, I'm sure the Democrats are commissioning polls and focus groups right now to figure out how to correctly react to this.

Chuck Schumer or Hakeem Jeffries might make a flippant tweet or post on bluesky in the next 10 days or so asking how this helps hardworking Americans and lowers the costs of eggs.

They have no plan at this point, that much is obvious. I think the plan was to procedurally stall or hold up anything he wanted to do, and they didn't anticipate so much happening so fast.

They need leadership and they need a voice now (not in a month, not in a week, not after a series of focus groups to ensure that nobody's feelings get hurt), and it needs to be a strong voice.

He doesn't have the power to do about 3/4 the things he is doing but apparently Democrats are just going to roll over and let him do it anyway.
