I seriously wonder what the delay is here. Is it just that Trump’s name is so prevalent in the documents that it takes this long to redact? Or is it a debate internally about whether to release at all because of the implication for Trump and other conservative people who were in Epstein’s orbit?
Those are really the only two scenarios I can think of as to why they haven’t followed through on Bondi’s promise.
It's collecting payments from people to get their names redacted out.
And their lawyers requiring permanent elimination for the payments, so they cannot be blackmailed in perpetuity. And how the DOJ has to destroy evidence to do that (which is illegal) but figure out ways to get it done, anyway...

Well everyone knows Bonespurs is certainly blackmailable. The shit the Russians have on him, peepee tapes, the hundreds of millions of dollars he owes in fines, the hundreds of millions of dollars he's in business debt, the Epstein files, he's done enough dirt that everybody and their brother next to the gas station attendant can probably blackmail him. We are never seeing those logs. Everything associated with them has been purged from every system out there and the people who saw them are gone forever. There's nothing to see here.

Right. She reviewed them. Uttered "Oh shit!" And that was it.
....and then a first-day WH intern was tasked with running them all thru the copier system to make copies for distribution.
But this intern unknowingly fed them all into our industrial process shredder, when she thought it was copying.
It was an honest mistake, and we will not be naming or pursuing any actions against this intern.
