I don't know much about George Jr. but if he is less mobile than Chayce Crouch that could work to Iowa's favor.
He is less mobile. Doesn't have a cannon, but ok arm strength. Completion % to this point is less than ideal.
Played in a few games. He started against Michigan last year and didn't complete a pass in the first half. Completed 4 the entire game.
Yeah, if he comes out in a wheel chair I think we may get some pressure.
When you don't blitz and sit back in zone coverage, get minimal pressure on the qb, Iowa has a way of making marginal qb's look like heismann contenders once they get comfortable with more than enough time to exploit the holes in coverage.
Still pissed Iowa didn't blitz the MSU qb at the beginning of the game to rush him into bad decisions. Nope, let's allow this shaky qb to gain confidence from the get go. Play w/ some stones Phil!
