Look at Pearl-clutching Ken Griffey, Jr. People thought because he took batting practice with his hat backwards he was cool.
Roast of Bob Sagat is still one of the most brilliant things I've ever seen a comedian do.
He also crushed dingers and made it look easy. I'm willing to overlook this moment.

From early in his career, but this was the joke that cemented me on his brilliance. It is at once so, so stupid but so, so funny and clever:

You won’t convince me the Moth joke isn’t one of the best jokes in late night history, and Norm is one of the few who could deliver it.

One of my favorites is an Andy Richter quip to a long drawn out Norm story. That joke was like taking a 4 mile hike up a mountain to show off a turd.
The joke that made me a Norm fan was the one about the guy killing his family because the devil told him to do it.
“You got me, Bob!”

I loved it when he would tell a joke and then over-explain it at the end.

As often as you often try to paint pro-lifers as morons I think it is worthwhile to point out that a guy all of you have such admiration for and think is very intelligent was himself pro-life.
Not saying you have to agree with him. Just saying if I'm stupid for being pro-life, so is Norm.
My point is: who cares if he was pro-life? Can’t the guy just be ****ing funny? We’re well-aware where you sit, Hoosier. It’s exhausting
And this again proves.......... Germans love David Hasselhoff.
I’ve been a fan of Norm since 1990 and I honestly couldn’t tell you where he stood on political issues or who he voted for. That was one of the things that made him great at his craft.
