Two years before this movie was released, a couple buddies and I made a westward trek for a couple of weeks with the intent to bring back some Coors beer because it wasn't sold in Indiana at that time. Rather than haul it around for our whole trip we decided to get it in Texarkana on the way home. So, on our last day, we finally stopped there to purchase our beer only to learn that it was a dry county. We had to backtrack about 20 miles before we found a liquor store. That point was never mentioned in the movie.

When we moved from UT to VA my sister's boyfriend would mail my dad Coors in those poster tubes.
