Snow sucks balls

Nope, central Nebraska at the uncle’s house. Going to the fiancé’s family’s place in Destin Florida next week
I was going to guess that. Just like GIAOT and your mom, a wide band of 5-9 inches across western Nebraska today.

We probably have a different idea of what winter is but I’ll make sure to pack my heaviest shorts and light jacket
Had to throw a log on the firepit tonight. 65 suppose to be the low. Good lookin out in these parts. Hoodie, beanie cap, t-shirt, boardshorts, sandals, and the kids golf cart flipped over on our new fiber hub. Guess they were going up to the store for the parents' smokes, wine and beer. Thanks for the party.

Lows in the 30’s with frost. A hard freeze inland.
This might sound crazy but that sounds great. Sometimes in the morning the cold hits you and you can’t breathe for a second up here and then it’s 65 degrees at noon.

That’s just a fat Iowan’s wardrobe in our winter. Wife beater and flip flops for a plus’s sized Iowan in the Florida winter.

According to the KCRG radar it’s pounding snow outside.
Nothing.

3.5" on the deck this morning (CR near Kirkwood). Still coming down lightly.

I had planned on getting one of my snowblower fleet going during the break (they all ran perfectly fine when parked), seems like this is enough to make quick work of it once the sun comes up. The ol' 1971 Ariens 922002 4hp seems like a good choice.

Yay, playing with snowblowers!

Light snow in North Liberty, we've got about 3.5" as well. Won't bother with the snow blower as the driveway looks to be melting so a sloppy mess.

Scooped this morning. Heavy stuff. I may make another pass but it will be just a dusting rather than the heavy stuff

We ended up with, maybe, 1-1.5". Just enough to be annoying, but shouldn't take a lot to clear.

The bigger problem is that I still need to finish putting up Christmas lights, and I'm not feeling it with walking around on a snow covered roof, so I'm hoping it warms up enough to at least melt the roof.

I write this every year on this forum but I find it pretty wild how much people let the weather/seasons impact their contentment.

It is like a zero impact issue for me - it just is what it is - hot or cold, dry or wet, snow or rain - I find all of it fine and frankly find places where the weather is always pleasant or the same to be kind of boring. 🤷‍♂️

You guys obviously win with weather november through April, and possibly other months. July and august are just f!cking miserable though.

LOL, I'll bet you lose your s**t when your snow blower doesn't crank up, or it's -14. Post here about all of your contentment when the first Alberta clipper rolls through.
